I attended high school at Flippin, where their Technology Coordinator hired me for summer help performing routine maintenance on machines around campus. He and the faculty there encouraged my continued education in technology. After graduation, I worked for a local computer repair shop, which exposed me to a much wider variety of technology and allowed me to take some college classes at ASU in Mountain Home. Soon after, I started working at Cotter Schools as a Tech Assistant in addition to my job at Computer Repair Service in Yellville. When the Tech Coordinator at Cotter retired, I was hired to replace him full time. Thanks to opportunities provided by the local education co-op and the Department of Information Technology, I was able to attend several additional trainings in the tech field and developed a much more rounded skill set. In April of 2008, this position opened. V.I.P. has a reputation for treating its employees well, providing excellent benefits, and is only two miles away from home. The move to Volt has seemed the most natural one I have made, and I am looking forward to the years to come.
