Uni-Screw™ Benefits
One Driver.
Convenience
The single driver system works with plastic screws of all sizes
requiring no design or production changes. Volt Industrial
Plastics will produce the driver you need as a part of your
Uni-Screw System. Many colors and materials are available for
both the drivers and the Uni-Screw™.
Exceptional
directional
stability
|
Multiple
hexagonal surfaces produce up to 18 engaged surfaces which
are directionally stable to within less than three degrees.
Low
effort requirements
The engaged bit and screw fit snugly and require little pressure to remain engaged.
The Uni-Screw™ system is ideal for low access or out of sight locations.
For assembly line operators the low effort reduces fatigue.
Increase
torque
Low pressure to keep the bit and screw engaged increases energy for torque and
allows for more controlled torque.

|
Tamper resistant
The precisely aligned, hexagonal surfaces provide moderate tamper
protection. Greater security can be provided with the Securi-Screw™ in Plastic.
Secure location
The exceptional directional stability and low effort requirements
allow Uni-Screw™ to be used in sensitive electronic equipment
assembly.
Cam-out eliminated
Conventional drivers tend to force themselves out of the screw,
disengaging the screw or stripping the screw head.
Cost effective
The single driver system reduces tool or bit costs and the related
inventory and replacement costs.
|
The
system locates so firmly that a power tool can be released
and the screw will support its weight horizontally! |
