Unique Design

Unique design means just one driver for plastic screws sizes 5/64" to 1/2".

Uni-Screw™, using the same driver for all sizes, eliminates tool changes for screws 5/64" to 1/2" (M2-M12 metric).

This is possible because the Uni-Screw™ driver locates tightly into the screw head, providing multiple drive surfaces no matter what the size. For the smallest screw sizes, only the smallest of the three recesses is used. For larger screws, all three tiers are used for maximum torque. (Uni-Screw™ drivers are interchangeable, with torque requirements determining which driver, plastic or metal, is most appropriate.)

All users of plastic screw fasteners will find this feature provides many positive cost implications. In industrial assembly environments, tooling costs are reduced and production time is shortened because the need to change drills and drivers to accommodate different sizes of screws is removed.

The same is true for products which, because of their complexity, must be assembled by hand. The assembler requires just one screwdriver or bit, reducing both the cost of the bits themselves and cost of replacing drivers that inevitably get misplaced.

Limitless Applications - Destined to become the industry standard.

Substantial savings can be made by using the Uni-Screw™ fastening system in automated or robotic assembly applications. Uni-Screws can be manufactured as cost effectively as other types although they are a superior fastener system.
